This year, 2026, is proving to be a turning point in Rubén’s career. Not only because of the creative momentum he is currently experiencing, but also because of his ability to combine the two sides that define his career: working in the studio and the intensity of live performances.
Just a week ago, Adhesivos embarked on a new chapter with the release of “Noches Suicidas,” their new single released by Raca Records, as well as the addition of Rubén to the band’s lineup. This new chapter has already begun to take shape on stage, with a first concert that left both the band and the audience with an excellent impression.
With an increasingly established identity within the Spanish rock scene, Adhesivos continues to champion an energetic, direct sound full of personality. Over the past few years, the band has evolved without losing its essence, building a repertoire in which guitars, the sheer power of their live performances, and honest lyrics have become their defining trademarks.

A Night to Remember at Es Gremi
Last Friday, Es Gremi hosted the debut of this new chapter. On stage, Israel Brinnes (vocals and bass), Xavi Seguí (guitar), Ramón Priego (guitar), and Rubén (drums and backing vocals) delivered a high-energy, emotional performance, driven by a strong desire to showcase all the work they have put in throughout 2026.
The show also served as an exclusive presentation of three songs that will feature on the band’s upcoming EP, produced by Juanjo Tomás at Eggstasy Production, giving the audience a first glimpse into the musical direction Adhesivos is now taking.
From the very first chord, the chemistry between the four musicians was evident. The audience’s enthusiastic response throughout the show confirmed that this new lineup is embarking on its journey with a very special connection, both on and off stage.

“Noches Suicidas”: A New Step for the Band
Coinciding with this live debut, Adhesivos presented “Noches Suicidas,” a single that marks a further evolution in their musical journey.
The song retains the band’s rock-driven essence while introducing a more ambitious production and a sound that reflects the band’s artistic growth. Released by Raca Records, the track serves as the calling card for a new chapter that will be accompanied by further releases and the highly anticipated EP, which is set to arrive in the coming months.
With this new work, Adhesivos reaffirms their commitment to growing while staying true to their identity, demonstrating that the band is experiencing one of the most creative periods since its formation.
The track is already available on all major digital platforms, and we invite you to give it a listen.
In His Own Words | Rubén

What did it mean to you to step onto the stage with Adhesivos for the first time?
“It was so much more than just a concert. It was the beginning of a new musical adventure and also a very important personal challenge. I arrived with a huge amount of excitement, but also with the respect that always comes with playing your first live show with a band that has been part of the national music scene for years. As soon as the first song started, the nerves disappeared and all that was left was to enjoy the moment. I felt an incredible connection with my bandmates and with the audience. It was a very special night that I will remember for a long time.”
How did you experience the audience’s response?
“It was emotional. Seeing people enjoying themselves, singing along and responding to every song makes all the effort that goes into rehearsals worthwhile. Introducing new songs and feeling that kind of reception was also an incredibly difficult feeling to put into words.”
What do you hope for from this new chapter?
“I’m really looking forward to continuing to grow. This journey never stops surprising you, teaching you and giving you unique moments. I think we have something really special in our hands, with great songs and lots of ideas to develop. The best part is that this is only the beginning.”
And Now… Back to the Studio
While rehearsals continue and the band prepares for its upcoming concerts, Rubén has already returned to the studio to continue developing new projects.
He is currently immersed in the recording of a new soundtrack, a project that is progressing at a very good pace and will be released soon. At the same time, he has also begun composing another new production, and he has revealed that he is already very excited about the first ideas taking shape at the piano. Once again, this demonstrates his commitment to music for film and other narrative formats.
In this way, the composer continues to combine his work as a live musician with his creation of soundtracks — two disciplines that, far from being separate, complement and enrich one another.
The coming months promise to be particularly intense: new concerts, releases, upcoming records and new audiovisual projects that will continue to expand an ever-evolving artistic career.
Because, in the end, music always finds a way to keep telling new stories.
