After captivating audiences last year with a night many described as magical, El Somni d’en Walt will return on May 31st in an edition that goes beyond music: a charity concert in support of the project La Valentía de Martina.

The Banda de Música de Marratxí, once again the central organizing force together with the Marratxí Town Council, returns as the sonic heart of this journey, reaffirming an artistic bond that proved its strength in the first edition. This time, the music also becomes a gesture of unity, hope, and social commitment.
A cast of voices bringing the dream to life
The show will feature a lineup of soloists who bring together talent, sensitivity, and a special connection to the project—many of whom also took part in the previous edition. Sandra Mayol, Carlos Díaz, and Rafel Fiol will once again give voice to the songs that marked an entire generation, past and present. Joining them are Alexandra Muñoz and Pablo López, adding new textures and emotion to the musical universe of the production.
Meanwhile, Rubén Gallardo will once again take on his role as soloist on guitars and ethnic percussion, while Andreu Burguera joins this edition as piano soloist.
Rubén Gallardo: arranger, soloist, and creator of a musical universe
Composer Rubén Gallardo returns to the production that marked a turning point in his recent career. The first edition was a reunion with the audience that sparked a wave of praise, positive reviews, and an emotional connection that still resonates, leading him to take part in new stage projects.
Regarding this new edition, Gallardo says:
“Returning to the stage in such a dazzling production alongside the Banda de Marratxí and all my colleagues, driven by Sandra Mayol, reconnects me with the child within me who grew up tied to this music. And this time, we come together for a very special reason.”
This edition is held in benefit of La Valentía de Martina, a project that supports and gives visibility to the fight of Martina and her family. Music thus becomes a bridge between emotion and action, between art and real help.
