We find ourselves in the rehearsal space of the Banda Municipal de Marratxí, now transformed into a small parallel universe, where Disney music begins to come to life among music stands, focused silences, and shared laughter.

l Somni d’en Walt is no longer just an idea on paper — it's a living energy, felt in every chord, in every moment of connection between musicians, in each musical phrase that awakens childhood memories.

At the heart of this project is composer Rubén Gallardo, who attends every rehearsal to ensure every detail of his arrangements comes to life — and who also joins the performance as one of the featured soloists.

“It’s important to be present at every rehearsal and witness how each suite slowly comes together. I haven’t been the only one facing the challenge of adapting Disney’s magic to the band format—each performer, along with the conductor, has gone through intensive study sessions and rehearsals to bring this concert to life. Now, it’s finally beginning to sound with genuine emotion and natural flow.”

Meanwhile, the technical and logistics team is fine-tuning the final mechanisms to ensure everything runs with precision. Amid cables, lights, sheet music, and careful planning, fantasy becomes something tangible.

“There’s so much work behind what the audience sees. This project has required meticulous preparation — from the very first meetings to every technical decision. It’s about turning a dream into something real, and that’s only possible with passion and commitment. El Somni d’en Walt is now a fantasy brought to life.”

For months, the team at Sarts Produccions, under the executive direction of Sandra Mayol, and the musical team led by Gallardo, have shaped an ambitious production—rich in musical and visual detail—designed to move both children and adults alike.

With over 70 musicians, a meticulously crafted staging, and a level of dedication felt in every rehearsal, Disney will land in Marratxí this June 29th.

And what lies ahead… promises to make history, for this is only the beginning of…
